Locum Services (Outsourcing)

This special low-cost solution is aimed at Small to Medium Sized Enterprises who cannot afford to take on full time professionals to manage the multiple requirements of employment and safety regulation and compliance with standards such as ISO9000 and ISO14001.

We have a number of levels of advisory support starting with our basic employment law support service (ELSS) which has four options.

Platinum* £2800 per annum. Up to 4 days (32 hrs) consultancy time or hands-on project work included plus unlimited telephone support. Free annual (typically 2-4 hour) employment law update session. Excess consultancy costs charged at £650 per day.

Gold* £1500 per annum. Up to 2 days (16 hrs) consultancy time or hands-on project work included plus unlimited telephone support. Free annual (typically 2-4 hour) employment law update session. Excess consultancy costs charged at £700 per day.

Silver £750 per annum. Up to 1 day (8 hrs) consultancy time or hands-on project work included plus unlimited telephone support. Excess consultancy costs at £750 per day.

Bronze £250. Unlimited telephone support. Other charges raised as agreed at normal consultancy rate of £850 per day.

All contract types include:-

E-mail notifications on significant case law changes which may require some adjustment to policy and practice
Advice, whenever the law changes, on actions required
Access to our web site which contains news on recent and forthcoming legal developments.

* Gold and Platinum contract members get a 20% reduction on fees for any other service or product purchased through Culturetracker.com.

We are not at present able to offer indemnity guarantees other than the statutory right to pursue recovery of costs where advice was negligent. We hold professional indemnity cover for this purpose. However we can say that, in 23 years, no client has ever had to go to a tribunal, let alone lost there, as a result of advice we have provided.

Benefits

Because we are closely associated with your business, we are able to provide a personal service. This means we will get to know your business needs so you only get advice and information on matters which directly affect your business or industry. It also means you can rely on dealing with the same person each time rather than someone trying to interpret their predecessor’s notes on a remote computer screen. If the issue is complex we will come to see you personally at your convenience. We cannot guarantee to always be available by phone but we will normally respond within an hour, guarantee to always return calls within 24 hours and respond to e-mails within 48 hours.

Because we are not providing indemnity cover, we are able to take a more robust, business risk-orientated approach to handling employment cases, a luxury which is not available to larger legal advice lines with multiple advisors who are obliged to take a more risk-averse stance.

Locum Contracts

For a guaranteed level of work from 1 to 3 days a month, depending on needs and the size of the business, Culturetracker.com provide Personnel, Training, Safety and Quality Management expertise and resources at a special reduced rate - usually 25% less than our standard terms.

We are able to manage and maintain many practical aspects of Personnel, Quality, Safety, Security and Environmental issues within the agreed rates. For example, for one of our clients with a 3 day per month commitment we maintain the following services:-

Company wide Risk Assessments and their database
COSHH assessments and an associated database
Accident reporting, follow up action and database maintenance
A Training database and facilitation of an internal training and development team, including development of course materials
A number of days of management development training in-house covering (for example) supervisory skills
Business Process Reviews aimed at specific cost reduction or quality improvement initiatives
Maintenance of an employee handbook and contractual documents
Regular site inspections on safety and security
Annual employment law updates
Facilitating employee briefings on Company developments and objectives
Site security reviews and audits
Assistance with work towards ISO14001 accreditation
